I really liked the subject of your lesson. It seems like it would be very interesting for the kids and the internet tools would keep them interested while offering a different take on learning language. The use on OAS for pre-test and post-test also seems like it would help the students be able to chart their progress and help you to know if the lesson was effective.

I like how you use the online assessment system for pre and post tests. As you stated, it is a great way for students to have immediate feedback on their learning. I noticed that you mentioned that the students are English Language Learner students. Are all of the students ELL students? I like how you intended to use the Blabberize as a presentation tool for those students. It does allow them to practice their speaking skills. For those who are at the beginning levels of language acquisition, using Voki might be good for them. They can either use their own voice or they can use a computerized voice. They just simply type in the text and the computer speaks for them. Voicethread or Podomatic are a couple of other Web 2.0 tools that might be useful for presentations to practice speaking skills. This would be especially useful because they are all doing different elements, and they could use them to learn from one another. I think you did a good job of choosing activities and tools that would work well with ELL students in learning a subject matter that could be difficult for them because their limited language proficiency.

I like how you incorporated GOAS into your lesson. GOAS questions are great for preparing students for the CRCT and EOCT. Be able to vary the level of questioning on the test is helpful as well. Blabberize although its a great tool for its animations, I think Voicethread might be a better fit for this project. I always think that having ELL students put ideas and vocabulary into a story will be helpful and Storyboard that would be a great tool to assess the lesson.
